This holiday season, we’re pleased to share opportunities that benefit and help support AAFB, our member food banks and those struggling with hunger in our communities:
- Give yourself the gift of comfort at Copenhagen Imports while supporting AAFB: Donate a minimum of $50 at the point of sale, specifying that you want the donation to go to AAFB, and you will receive $200 off any Ekornes Stressless recliner or $400 off select Stressless Eagle or Wing recliners through January 14, 2013.
- Stop by any First Fidelity Bank branch location between now and January 4, 2013 to make a financial donation to AAFB or to drop off a non-perishable food donation to benefit our member food banks.
- When you visit any Coco’s or Carrows Restaurant to purchase a holiday pie, purchase an extra pie to be donated to a local food bank on your behalf. Simply ask your server about Pies for a Purpose when you stop in.
- Make a secure donation to AAFB and receive an Arizona tax credit if you qualify.
- They’ve only been available for a year and already more than 650 have been ordered! Makes a great gift! Each purchase benefits AAFB and our member food banks that collectively serve all 15 Arizona counties.
- Volunteer at the Mesa Cannery: Perfect for families and groups, help repackage bulk foods into family size packages for the food banks, which in turn distribute them to families in need. Call 480-839-4694 or 480-695-3552 for more information.
