6 Ways to Help End Hunger Today
- Ask your neighbor if they’re in need. Support food banks by shortening the line and helping those around you. Consider starting a “give or get” box in your workplace or neighborhood to share goods freely.
- Sign up for a volunteer shift at your local food bank or pantry.
- Hold a community fundraiser to raise awareness at work, school, church, online, or wherever you find community.
- Donate funds or non-perishable items to your local food bank or pantry. Use our map to find their website or phone number and learn what their most pressing needs are. Please note that AzFBN does not accept in-kind donations.
- Stay informed and advocate for anti-hunger policy to end hunger for good across the state.
- Share your story. Your experience with food insecurity can help others get the support they need and help AzFBN with future advocacy efforts to end hunger in the long term.
Volunteer or Host a Food Drive for Your Local Food Bank
Arizona Food Bank Network is not a direct service food bank and cannot accept volunteers or food drive donations at this time.
Find your local food bank or pantry to give your time and goods to! Regional food banks can be found below.
Please note that each food bank has their own hours and specifications. For volunteering, age restrictions and dress codes apply. For food drives and in-kind donations, checking for most needed foods and drop-off requirements should be your first step.
