This holiday season, the Association of Arizona Food Banks (AAFB) is pleased to share many opportunities to support AAFB, our member food banks, and those struggling with hunger:
- Give yourself the gift of comfort at Copenhagen Imports while supporting AAFB: Donate a minimum of $50 at the point of sale, specifying that you want the donation to go to AAFB, and you will receive $200 off any Ekornes Stressless recliner or $400 off select Stressless Eagle or Wing recliners through January 20, 2014. Find a location near you.
- Donate food and funds at any First Fidelity Bank branch: Make a financial contribution to AAFB at any First Fidelity Bank branch location through January 3, 2014. While there, you can also drop off non-perishable food donations to benefit local food banks. Find a location near you.
- Give the gift of pie with Coco’s and Carrows Restaurants’ Pies for a Purpose: Now through the end of the year, stop in and purchase an extra pie and they will donate it to a local food bank. Last year, Coco’s and Carrows donated over 20,000 pies—help them surpass that mark this holiday season!
- Make a secure donation to AAFB anytime – makes a great gift: Donate before the end of the year and receive an Arizona tax credit if you qualify. No need to itemize! You can even make a contribution in honor or memory of family members, friends, colleagues, or loved ones. Acknowledgements of your thoughtful gift – without the dollar amount listed – will be sent to your honorees if you wish.
- Order the official Arizona Hunger Relief License Plate: More than 1,320 Arizona hunger fighters have, and you can too! Makes a great gift! Order your official Arizona Hunger Relief specialty license plate today at www.ServiceArizona.com. Each plate purchase benefits AAFB and our member food banks that collectively serve all 15 Arizona counties.
